Walk 4 Water

W4W is a fundraiser walk designed to simulate the average walk a person in rural West Africa walks to collect water, 5 miles! Participants have the option of carrying an empty water jug 2.5 miles, filling it up, then walking the remaining 2.5 miles will their water, just like the Burkinabees do! Carrying the water jug is optional if someone is physically unable, you can still participate in whatever capacity you can! Everyone is welcome!
All funds raised will go towards digging new clean water wells in Burkina Faso or repairs needed to current wells.
As a participant, you have the opportunity to raise awareness of the need for clean water while fundraising to build a well and impact an entire community in Burkina Faso!
